Screen Pledge Day
October 29

October 29, 1969: The world logged on—and crashed.
The first message was sent across ARPANET, the precursor to the internet. They tried to send “LOGIN,” but the system crashed after “LO.”

October 29 today: We log off—so we don’t crash.

Each year, Screen Pledge Day gives families, schools, and faith communities a moment to pause and look up.

We control screens. Screens don't control us.
